Ribbon Cutting for Tammy Street Park Playground

The City of Meridian Parks and Recreation Department invites the community to celebrate the official opening of a new playground in Tammy Street Park with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 16, 2026, at 11:30 a.m.
 
Tammy Street Park is a small, existing pocket park that the City of Meridian received from the Western Ada Recreation District (WARD).  The City is adding a new playground to the park, including slides, monkey bars, and multiple climbing elements.
 
Community members, project partners, and local residents are encouraged to attend the celebration and experience the park and playground firsthand.
 
The ribbon cutting ceremony will include brief remarks from City and WARD representatives, followed by the official ribbon cutting and an opportunity for attendees to enjoy the new playground.
